Swimming up-close with a Whale Shark

June 2024, about 45 minutes boat ride North East from Cancun Marina, had an experience of a life time. Whale Sharks feeding in the region was a thrill to witness. A beast of a creature but so calm to watch in the end. Told they swim about 4 Km/hour, which seems slow but once next to them the moment passes lightning fast. Beware of the tail, as it almost knock my mask off.
