I have a question we had in fully enclosed indoor pool at one point in time kinda like what you got there, but ours did not have fish, it used to be so frustrating when a bunch of people are even just a couple of people would come swim because of the oils on their skin. we used to have to put tide in our pool water to get rid of it after a party or something. so we started making people bathe with dish soap before they got into the water and that change things dramatically for us. Especially their hair, washing all that hair oil out really helped. Do you have people prep like that?

Please keep that synodonta's catfish! it is a beautiful specimen And you should put it in the community tank The huge bell the community Bellagio. or you could try the African cichlid tank but I think it's more of a soft water fish than hard water fish originally if you want to keep biomes. but the large feather duster squeakers as they're called are feather fin squeakers Those are beautiful synodontists and they deserve to be kept just for that reason they're like super giant quarries like three to four times the size of a small quarry or a medium-sized Corey and they're also reported to be the upside down catfish Or they will swim or hide under overhang leaf or rock ledge or anything like that and they will swim upside down feet off the surface upside down. so they're very cool fish.

Any peaceful tank is a successful one. As a rescue, you really can't afford to run realistic ecosystems for display. In a natural ecosystem fish prey on each other and reproduce as much as they can. Neither of those is fully compatible with a rescue trying to rehome overgrown pets. Frankly, I'd love to see that white lungfish that has recovered so well from having his limbs bitten off moved into a safer tank with fish that can't harm him or into a tank by himself like Tesla. It's got to be tough having limbs that resemble tasty worms while sleeping with predatory tankmates. LOL. SFMF.
