Why do they hate when they want to hear deals out? I think it's great to hear what they all think and want to offer..
@dismalthoughts Жыл бұрын
A couple thoughts on that. On the one hand, I think a good businessperson would absolutely shop around for the best deal for their business. It just makes sense. If I were a shark, I'd be wary of someone who succumbed to that pressure. On the other hand, you could and *should* research each shark before coming on to figure out who could help you the most. If Mark is objectively the best shark for the job with the potential to increase their revenue by enough of a margin over the other sharks that it would be the plainly, objectively best decision to go with him, then I can see an argument being made that their wanting to shop around shows a lack of proper planning and research to find that out beforehand. But no business venture is ever that objectively determinable, I think it's mostly ego and sharkiness, and I would not deal with it. That, imho, is an absolutely horrible footing to start a business relationship on; I think it sets a dangerous precedent. I would be sad to lose Mark, but I would not regret it one bit.
@zeroyashik42397 ай бұрын
i think it was because mark didn't wanted to negotiate with other sharks, he gave a good offer and was even open to negotiating with them i think he would've gone to 20 percent which is a great offer. but when they replied with they wanted to hear other offers, it made mark understand that they don't really want him and are just here for the best evaluation deal. which is reasonable because mark is one of the best sharks to have and he knows his worth and knows where he wants to put his time and energy into somewhere he feel respected and needed.

$60 is not worth the host having the trouble of strangers in their backyard for hours. $60-70 an hour is not even unreasonable if you’re throwing a small pool party, every guest can pitch in $20 and make it fairly cheap if not free for the one throwing the party.
