The Manchineel trees were planted close to the shores to protect communities from invading pirates who would seek shelter under the trees and eat the apple shaped fruits! How interesting 😮

Amazing.....i noticed one of the turtles had tags on its fins?

Yeah we did notice it on one particular turtle, we weren't exactly sure but we believe it was done by conservationists. In Trinidad they tag the leatherback turtles as well and they reach as far as North America in their travels!
