Great audit - it's funny how there always several police turn up and always surround the person attending. You'd think ego de-escalation techniques should be taught. It takes maturity and wisdom to actually back down from such a situation and the police should lead by example. Hopefully, due to the work of excellent auditors such as Gypsy auditor uk, the police will learn and improve, moving with the times and accepting they will be photographed in the same way that they seem to think they have a right to film the general public at every opportunity. 🙂

The sensible thing would be for the Officers to go inside and speak to the staff in those offices and remind them that windows can be seen through, and ask them to ensure that nothing sensitive or private is visible from outside. Turn your monitors away from the window, close blinds if neccessary etc. If these Officers think that there are things which shouldn't be filmed through the window, then those things probably shouldn't be seen through the window at all. All you are doing is a very obvious and noticable version of walking past and sneaking a look with your eyes, which is something anyone could do, and something maybe those inside haven't thought about enough. You've done them a favour by drawing their attention to this, and if they respond to it in a sensible way then the building, and the information inside, will be more secure tomorrow than it was today.

It never ceases to amaze me how many Police Officers are completely rude and ignorant when addressing the public, it's a combination of "What you doing mate." Or it's "What you doing filming a Police station for pal." Very rarely is any auditor addressed as 'Sir' which is the correct way to address someone at first meeting. They stand there with either their hands thrust into their pockets, or their thumbs tucked into the sides of their stab vest. That is just poor presentation and a complete lack of respect for the uniform they wear and the member of the public to whom the are addressing. These audit videos should be watched by senior officers so they can see at first hand, how poorly uniformed and non uniformed police personnel present themselves to the public. Is there any wonder there is a total disconnect between the Police and the general public. Keep up the good work GA, we need you out there!!

The onus is on the 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️ to keep any sensitive info secure. Many sites have reflective glass which - as you know - means they can 👁 out but you can't see in. That means you cannot capture 📽 of the aforementioned data; even if it occurs accidentally. Cracking job there guys. Don't mess with Gypsy & Stef 👊👍

I enjoy watching auditor's at work, and you are extremely good at what you do, my problem is I find it almost impossible to watch when there are more than one doing the same audit, they never work as a team and are always talking over each other trying hard to get the best content for their own channels. I always watch AB as he has a laid back approach and usually just on his own, the one time I saw him with another auditor it was a complete car crash and exhausting to watch. You are so much better on your own.

You did really well. You got them to demonstrate so clearly the divide between these officers who may be reasonable enough and the public. They are bewildered by the principles on which you base your actions. Listen carefully They have one major priority and that's themselves. Their computers, their cars, each other. Not once did they talk about the people they serve. That is new from the older service. They think any action they take is justifiable based on that priority. So stopping you filming through a eindow when it's their job to protect it. Turning on cameras and covertly recording you which is totally wrong and against your rights. I think they would think stitching you up justified. It's an attitude that justifies abuse and corruption and they just don't get it.

Long and short of it, don't put private information on show if your responsible for it. That is the GDPR rules. If someone walks past, in public, and can see it, with or without a camera, that's on the handler of that information. Get blinds, curtains, anything to hide it from view, if you want to open your windows. Let's face facts we are nosey. I walk down the street and look into houses if the windows have no cover. It's natural. Having a camera doesn't change that fact.

A police officer or constable WILL knock on a door and LOOK inside the letter box. So if a copper were just popping around for a chat, not under arrest, they will shout into your home, look inside, assume that you are in and keep knocking. If they saw you then they will just bang on the door and look and scream into your letterbox

I was looking at the digital video outside a travel agent’s the other day to see what holidays were available.
