Swing it out | New Holland T7.270 + swivel arm & umbilical injector | Slurry 2020 | Aarnink & Ooms

Slurry season 2020 has been a though one so far in the Netherlands. Continuous torrential rains make it difficult to find fields which are suitable for slurry injecting. On a dry but very breezy day early March we team up with Aarnink & Ooms (Flevomest) as they set off on a large field in the Dutch Noordoostpolder.
Their New Holland T7.270 Blue Power is fitted with a so-called swivel arm/swing pipe arrangement build by Rotink Mechanisatie. It means the pulling force on the tractor is always even and the weight distribution improves. Behind the tractor sits a 12m Veenhuis disc injector. Thats one interesting set up. I think you might have some sort of audio issue, the sound sounds jumpy. It's been to wet in England as well to put slurry on the ground

There were very strong winds so this made it difficult to record proper audio. The engine noise at the pump is incredibly loud and I forgot to turn the mic volume down so hence it is cracking there :-). Since people on KZbin feel very strong about using the original sounds I decided to stick with it.

Between 25 and 35 m³/ha is the norm here. That works out at 2.670 and 3.741 gallon per acre if my maths are correct.

@@Agrifotodotnl Hi I redid the math and I think yours was slightly off as a couple of gallons of manure per acre wouldn't be worth applying at a 35m3 to hectare would convert to roughly 3400 gallons of slurry per acre. ^^
