Wow! I haven't heard this song in over 20 years...my god has it been that long? I had the old twelve inch of this when I was 16 and fell in love in Corrine - she was (& still is) sooo gorgeous. By the way - great song, even if it is so obviously 80's in sound.

Agreed! Her charisma is unmatched by any other. I especially like the way Corrine expresses herself at 2:21 thru 2:28...the look on her face sort of says "The music is playing, I am just going along for the ride, but I am in control of it all", then she gives that characteristic smile. Pure brilliance!

This has grown to become my favorite song from SOS's first album. Perhaps the reason is that I have overplayed "Surrender" over the years. For those of you still stuck in 1986, take a good listen to their penultimate album, Where Our Love Grows. It is a brilliant work, even for the casual SOS fans like me.

Thanks so much for posting! I didn't realize this song came before Breakout. Swing Out Sister is so fresh I mean it's timeless.

FYI: From Wiki: Together with their producer, Paul Staveley O'Duffy, [SOS] signed with Mercury Records. Prior to their first album, they released the single "Blue Mood" in the UK in November 1985. However, it did not chart. In late 1986, the single "Breakout" was released.

I'm sorry my bad . Yes this song came out of the "It's better to travel " album. "It's better to travel" is the best album I ever heard form any artist or group.

I believe this one came out as a single prior to "Breakout." One of their most underrated tracks. I prefer this one to "Twilight World" by far.

One reason why I find Corinne's beauty so alluring is that her sex appeal can be subtle yet unmistakable when she expresses it. You can see this to the lead-up to her alluring and coy glance at 0:33. Initially she's looking away from the camera into the distance, then turns just for a second and gives the viewer that look at about 0:33 seconds that is just dynamite. It's like Corinne is saying, yes, I know what you want, and I've got it. You sure do, Corinne, pure beauty that you are.

in some ways, this track is more electro, which sounds more "NOW"! I have the 12" promo of this one!
