Martín Naranjo lol yeah. Sometimes when I’m doing these stunts and I’m just showing them (I’m a girl, so I get lifted), I just feel so awkward and so I just smile since I’m the center of attention

Ye it definitely does but by the time you get to actually performing these or doing them at a higher speed your well practiced and you can trust a great majority of people who do them because you understand how well practiced they SHOULD be. Not everyone is though so you should be careful and mistakes do still happen

Just sharing some love and appreciation for this! It must have taken a fair bit of effort to get all these moves out, film and name everything - so thank you! It is, without a doubt, the most comprehensive compilation on the internet. It would definitely be *amazing* to see these in context. I know some are i.e. the Charleston ones, but if you're ever up to filming again, I think the internets/the 300k+ viewers would definitely appreciate it! 🙌

This is so cool! I noticed there's quite a height difference between you two, is it easier to do if that's the case? My husband and I are almost exactly the same height so I'm not sure if some of these would work. (like 'around the world' or any where my face would be close to the floor.) 😁 anyone who knows?
@annabellenonimous13026 жыл бұрын
@@LuckyDrano thank you for the info! We tried a couple of the more basic moves and let's just say we'll need to work up to anything fancy. 😁
@beccaderr76335 жыл бұрын
Hi! I'm a swing dancer and generally, unless you trust your partner to know to lift you up a bit higher so that you don't hit the ground, I wouldn't recommend trying Around the World. Most of the other stunts you should be able to do, though! But yes, having a taller partner does come in handy. Enjoy your dancing!
@princ3ss_z3lda5 жыл бұрын
Hey! I know this was quite a while ago, but I'm an acrobatic Rock 'n Roll dancer and I've done around the world with someone who is 4 inches shorter than me (I'm 5'10”). It's all about practice really. :) Maybe try them on a soft floor in a gym, maybe there are gymnastic gyms around you that have a softer floor? The only thing I probably wouldn't recommend if you are taller (I've done it with someone the same height though), are the ones where your legs are wrapped around one of his shoulders and you lean down. We have different names for the lifts so I'm not sure what they call it, but I hope you know what I mean! :)

Katie Tato please don’t ever do this at a social dance, though. People could get seriously hurt. Especially don’t ever do it with a partner you haven’t practiced the same move with. This is a move that should only be reserved for competitions or performances.
