Thanks a lot Richard and Amogh.. learned a lot from this video, i can see myself going to implement some rules into my selling strategy.. By far my biggest mistake is micro managing the stops and getting stopped out of the winners early, then chase it again to give back all the profits.

Another great interview but leads me to a question. The question is " Markets are known to be random and that is why there are buyers and sellers on each side but with these interviews, learnings like VCP, cup and handle, RS etc , if everyone learns the similar pattern to buy where are the sellers coming from or will come from? In short your interviews are or would omit market randomness or am I too novice to think so? Thanks again
@RichardMoglen2 жыл бұрын
The patterns are the effect not the cause, created by institutional accumulation. The markets aren’t efficient

Informative video thanks again for your time gentlemen. I found it interesting that Trader Amogh has only read two investing books. I've asked for many of them for Christmas. Not necessarily requiring extensive reading fits the suggestions I've seen from Minervini and others that say the best teacher is practice by putting skin in the game. I have also taken this approach and have obtained solid results so far in the few months I've been actively trading. I would still like to bolster my knowledge as I do see things like wave theory that I need to learn. Richard would you mind trying to interview Tomas Claro? I saw a biography on his trading style and it appears he says he is a swiss army knife approach. This goes against what some traders preference to master one chart pattern. I think it would be fascinating!
@RichardMoglen4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Javier, I highly recommend Minervini's books they teach a lot about risk management. I'll add Tomas to the list thanks!

I like selling a portion as I make gains but then I have fewer shares if the stock runs. Other people add more in if the trade is working which I believe he also said he does which seems contradictory.
