I have tried to work out what is the difference between a swing and a kagi chart... My software doesnt have swing charts....

Not surprised you can't find swing charts are they are not on many charting packages due to the nature in how to program the swings correctly like we teach in our courses. On the surface, there is not a huge difference between Kagi and Swing Charts.

At the risk of sounding foolish, I believe Phil is reading the market place performance number's incorrectly. He says flight center is beating the ASX200 and the Sector on a one year bases. However those numbers are comparing flight centre against the performance of the ASX200 and flight centre is trailing the Sector by 11.91% and trailing the ASX200 by 4.4% over one year.
