Electro swing seems to be very popular in Europe. Caravan palace is from France, and I think these guys are from Italy. I love this music, and I love steam punk. I enjoy listening to these songs and imagining them being sung in a steam punk 1920s stage.

Of course, its roots are in the Gypsy style which was born in Northern Europe, popularized by Django Reinhardt. It's a modern take on the genre, but if you've ever heard Street Performers in Europe, you'd know the style is extremely similar.

I like it when the guy sitting in the chair gets up and walks away. All we hear are his footsteps. Then, 26 seconds after the music ends, he turns around and says, "You got the gig. The look on the singer's face when she hears they got the gig is a mixture of relief and a slightly sarcastic, "Well, that's a really enthusiastic approval."
