Ksenia, Valery and Ivan. What a trio. I remember watching Pavel, Pat Flynn and some RKC enthusiasts initially. It was interesting as I hadn't really trained with KBs back then, so I found myself comparing hardstyle and girya a lot. Then I must have found Steve Cotter's and also your channel soon after. I think there is a place for all of it, and ideally I wouldn't pick a style. It's like Bruce Lee said "having no way as a way". If that makes sense. One thing though that strikes me about these 3 sport legends on video; they never seem like they are working when they perform. Except for Ivan, that double 40kg long cycle video of him is absolutely insane.

She inspired me 10 years ago to ditch hardstyle kettlebells and take up competition style. As a guy I thought I was getting strong and building endurance, then I saw what she was capable of with that size frame. Crazy! The 3 people in the shot here became my youtube teachers. Watch, listen, learn, these are the Gods of Gyra!

How smooth and effortless are her movements, so elegant, it's incredible! I started KB with Pavel T. but it's really hard, sometimes impossible to follow his advice. I'm close 70 years now and I'm very happy to learn about this softer style of moving the KBs! I'll adopt this for shure to stay active for many more years!

Saw one of your Instagram posts the other day where you are snatching a 20 Kg bell. I was just about to ask you how do you seem to make it look so effortlessly. Now I realize how this may have influenced you. Thanks for resurfacing this footage!

Joe, stop it man, this is killing many of us. How can someone half my weight effortlessly do so many snatches. I thought I was decently fit till I saw this and realized many of you must be living in a different reality than me. Youth has its advantages I knew but wow, this was incredible.

@@kettlebellmusclegain Well, it was worth a try... do you think Ksenia's body is ideal for snatch, like the way people say michael phelps' body is ideal for swimming?

Absolutely. Youll have that in every top level of sport. Lever lengths make big differences in efficient movement.
