i don't think so. if a breakup is bad and has hurt you, why not celebrate getting over it? if you haven't found someone that complements you, why stay with them? ofc having a companion is great but rather stay single than be with the wrong person na. and family isn't just gonna be your spouse/children. you have your parents, siblings, relatives, etc. you also have your found family, ie, your friends with you. it's better to be happy on your own terms than do things out of obligations to please someone else or to adhere to the norm.
