Swirling a B.C. Rich guitar Red, White and Black

I created this video with the KZbin Video Editor ( / editor )
I use Swirling Paint from Magic Marble Paints.
No Borax used.
This guitar gad a twisted neck so it was made into a Custom Guitar Wall Hanger.

What’s important is that this dude showed me something I’d never seen before and I’m amazed. I’ve only recently picked up guitar and seeing one being painted with a crazy design is fascinating. I liked it better when it was concentric rings. I think the colors fit better with a bit more defined of a pattern. A little too 'swirly' for my tastes. The blue one looks nice, though.

+groovieguy I sanded down (pvc) pipe fittings to remove the gloss coat .if I apply a flat primer coat first, do you think it will bind well with the marble paint to the pvc fittings?

I tried this twice, came out bad both times, i leaned very quick that the amount of borax, the kind of paint and the water temperature all have to be correct or it won't come out nice, great job, looks awsome.

Thanks Scott. The paints I use are Magic Marble which doesn’t require any Borax. I could never get the Borax method to work for me. Everything else you said is so True, I actually have a water chiller to keep my temperature correct.

I think that is a cool choice of colors, but that would be a perfect fit for a McCarty or a Strat, some rounded model.

The colors look great! I noticed it wasn't spray paint. What kind of paint/brand did you use and the water looked dark and not just clear?! Did you also add something to the water beforehand? I want to get into dipping skateboards but this paint looks really great for the guitar! Cheers

This paint Magic Marble would work great. The water is just plain clear it just looks dark because the tank is dark gray. Magic marble paints don’t require any additional additives to the water. Some of my other videos have more information for you. Thanks for Watching
