Nice flight. It’s nice to have an explanation of what you are doing.

What a truly lovely journey. If I had the stomach to join, you would have a cheerful passenger!

Better cheerful on ground than sick in the air...

Ronald, wunderbarer Flug. Die neue Software der Insta360 One X2 Kamera fängt die alpine Schönheit viel besser ohne Artefakte ein.

Nice video. How often do glider pilots end up landjng at places other than their intended airport due to lift problems? Also when you are riding on top of a mountain ridgeline are you constantly switching which side of the ridge to find the best lift?

Thanks! I do not know what the average is - I have 1020 landings, and 3 of them were unplanned outlandings. One of them was due to a thunderstorm that prevented me to return home and I landed at a different airfield (later I got a tow back home). The remaining two we trailered back home. Over the ridgeline, I am always on the sun/wind side (although that may be hard to see in the video).
