More like this please! Excellent video, there are not many sources of Swiss German on the internet, so this is very useful.

Love the sound of all three languages but (perhaps a controversial opinion) - Schweizerdeutsch is trurly the nicest sounding language ever!

I started to take app courses in German but I Iearned that the German they speak in Switzerland it's not the same. Is there an app that can show Swiss German?

Question: how different is Schweizerdeutsch from Deutsch?? Specially in Zurich, can one get around with German itself?
@markus_ch Жыл бұрын
The spoken Schweizerdeutsch is quite different from the classic German. But people in Switzerland will immediately switch to proper classic German, when they realize that someone doesn’t understand the Swiss German dialect. It’s no problem, because the written German is the same in Switzerland as in Germany, so everybody is able to speak it - but mostly with an accent.

Felt like it was intentionally trying to give off the impression of how difficult it is in Swiss-German rather than slowing it down to help a foreigner learn. If I try to teach/help out anyone with Hindi or Bengali I don't say it superfast & overlapping someone else's words just so that the foreigner thinks it's incredibly difficult. Not a helpful video at all
