@agustinusreynaldi7101yeah but it’s typically impossible when it comes to crosswind landings. Even on ground, there’s a high chance that it would flip you up.

Should be noted the "child" of the DC-3, the DC-10 had an extra landing gear in the middle of the rear landing gear. Not quite a tail gear, but just a fun fact to kick out there.

The reason that modern airliners don’t have tail draggers. *I might be wrong* the tail can go down and the front can go up so lift is generated more because the jet engines are pushing the plane forward. Secondly corridors from terminals can go in good shape so no one acidently tilts and falls.

The real reason tail dragers don't exist anymore is because of the jet engines we have today. With turboprop engines, the thrust is directed towards the front of the engine, but with jet engines, they have their power directed towards the back of the engines. Notice how, at the beginning of the video, how Swiss001 put thrust and the plane just immediately nosed dive that's because with tail drager you can already tell the power was going towards the front rathen coming from the back. Shortly after swiss001 tried it with a modified 737. Notice how the plane wasn't lifting off. That is because of where the power was going. Now, the center of gravity is a key factor, but it's not the only factor.
