Near Aviation DISASTER!

As a planespotter at that Belgrade Airport, I know that planes very very very very rarely takeoff from D5 Only one ive heard of was one Cessna 208 and that it. Usually smaller planes use D6, or a319 when its empty. All others go do D7 We had a similar incident exactly 2 years before it when FlyDubai Boeing 737(not sure if 800 or max8) Lined up on 30 via D, Taxiway D was little back from the Current D6. They have programed the plane to takeoff from the end but wrongly lined up. And when captain noticed he gave full power and managed to lift off. At that moment ATC was blamed as they didn't say anything about them lining up via D instead of E. And from what ive heard It was copilots first flight on the job💀

Why do you talk when you know nothing about what happened exactly on that day? After being instructed to taxi to holding point for rwy 30,fdb taxied to holding point for runway 30 at intersection D,and while they were standing at D intersection they advised the tower they were fully ready for departure. I was listening to atc recordings that day in a bar near the airport,and for your information E is not the beginning of the runway for departure,the beginning can only be achieved by bactrack,which again,should be advised and requested from the pilots to the tower,any pilot will say that. Fdb also had raas,which should have told them how much runway they had in front. In both situations it can only be pilot mistake,with all the obbligations that atc already has people want from them to do the pilots job too. As swiss said,PIC is responsible for the aircraft,what should atc do,fly also the plane for them?

I really hope that the captain will get what he deserves for this, this was very unprofessional from his side, 111 people nearly died that day, not to mention that the plane passed the highway at 6 meters altitude. Since this accident, for your information, Air Serbia terminated the contract with Marathon Airlines ( A Greek carrier which began operating for Air Serbia last June and until now had a total of six E-jets operated on behalf for Air Serbia ). All of those are already returned to Athens and Air Serbia is now left with fleet shortage just month before the start of the summer season, i hope they will be able to find alternatives considering the problems with the p&w engines on the neos worldwide and i hope that they wont cancel any flights as a result. However this was the only right decision to make, bravo to Jiri Marek, the CEO of AirSerbia.

wow... I didnt realize this accident was this stupid and unnecessary. ATC literally warned them that they were being stupid and didnt have nearly enough runway yet they did it anyways.. Unbelievable they were ever hired as pilots to begin with making choices like that. Youre flying a commercial jet, not a cessna 172 lol

I Flew Airserbia Back In Summer of 2023, They lost our luggage, And were Late at the same time! Making Us miss our Flight to LAX From LHR! But the sandwich Was amazing, All out rating 2-3 Star Never fly with them again. This Incident If it was a crash, Could have blown them Into bankruptcy.
