Where I live its just been smoky out for the last 2 months which is horrible but I live near a millitary base so the benifit is I get to see c130’s going out to fight the fires flying over my home.

@tremplador That wouldnt work because these forests are massive and in remote areas so it would evaporate far too quickly for the water to do anything and you cant replace trees with other plants because of the same reasons. Its like trying to mow a lawn with just a needle, while that lawn is the size of a city.

Can safely say Hype Performance Group did a wayyyy better job with aerial firefighting in the H145 Action pack. It's a good idea as a mod, but just looks a little too janky. If a dev like Hype or Parallel 42 (after the amazing simfx) did it, it would be much better i'm sure.

the red fire retarant is not used directly on a fire to put it out. Its used on fuel to stop the spread of fire.
