Heartzel had some impressive combos and sound development (as always), but I think Den had a better structure, was much cleaner and, opposing to Heartzel, almost flawless. His round was enjoyable from beggining to end so he took it for me

I remember ppl saying in comments when Den’s 2021 GBB elim was released saying he’s not good live. This just shows how important it is to ignore the h8ers and how much practice you need live on stage cuz he’s improved so much since then since participating in more live battles.

Heartzel sounds really clean as long as he has the wind in him, which can be effected by nerves as well. Nevertheless, his combos and flow, the beatbox level overall is SO sky high. I can’t think of anyone who can do what he can on stage. Everyone except few individuals sound not original compared to him, it’s insane how special he is in this regard.

so here's a fair critique of this battle i think: Heartzel was more impressive and used more flashy techniques, but he broke flow and the structure was a bit all over the place Den pretty much didnt make any mistakes, flow was on point and very well structured. only thing is that he didnt use many techniques and wasnt too flashy. I enjoy Heartzel's style more but i think Den actually did win the battle

Yeah his videos have probably the best structure I've heard but on stage it seems he can't parse them together maybe the nerves get to him. Can't wait to see more . Also don't forget Heartzel has been on stages in Malaysia? I believe.

i think heartzel should have brought the rhythm in a technically tighter way. Like, there is the anacrusis and he should really accent the first beat. When he started, it took me a sec to understand the hip hop flow, but amazing stuff
