3:30 The top port is going to be very useful for tabletop gamers because you can't really use the switch at an angle on a table while plugged in (So if it's dying you can simultaneously charge it)

I fixed that problem with a 12 dollar plastic stand that both raised the switch and had a hole for the charger, ever since my joycons got drift I've used it when out, along with a pro controller

I tend to use mine in kickstand mode almost exclusively. My usual setup is my switch in kickstand mode on my desk and a pro controller. Mine is the oled model, which has a nice sturdy kickstand, so I do worry that the new one won’t be as solid.

I'm more concerned about what we cant see right now, being the performance of the switch 2 and the UI, because lets be honest that's 100% the reason people have been modding their switch for the better UI. dammit nintendo bring back background themes like you did for the 3DS.

Apparently, one of the reasons for the very basic UI for the Switch was because of performance. It literally just runs better without any complicated background theme, so they gut it for that generation

I've only played on a switch once (almost twice, but I had to leave by the time the game loaded), as I don't own my own. I doubt I'll ever be able to get either switch once this new one comes out, but it looks pretty neat. The part where one of the controllers is pulled out but not fully removed from the screen scares me tho. Kinda makes me worried about the longevity of those controller ports. Kinda feels like it could easily be broken by careless gestures.

Over the years, Nintendo developed a bit of a trend of alternating between consoles that are GOOD and consoles that are BAD, and the Switch was considered a GOOD release, so people are expecting this to bomb... Based on how what I've been told about it so far, however, it seems like it'll be a straight up upgrade from the Switch in pretty much every way (the internals were leaked, by the way), which makes it hard for me to believe that this can go POORLY... I think they JUST MIGHT break the trend, with this one. Fingers crossed!
