This is the hike down to National Falls at the base of Mt. Mazama in the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. This waterfall is cool because it is spring fed not far upstream from where the waterfall is. The spring is fed from under Mt. Mazama which holds the cold and deep Crater Lake. The water that flows through it is spring fed volcanic lake water. When you round that last bend and see the falls for the first time and get a facefull of that ice cold spring fed volcanic lake water it and be eh....bliss. I captured that moment. Enjoy.
