This show is incredible and the acting is AMAZING and I was in tears almost the entire time, literally instantly both out of joy and sadness, and I l.o.v.e.d it. The communication between the characters was inspirational and I feel so much more aware about deaf people and wow....great work.

Sandra Reyes Even if they make a season 6 I don’t think they’ll put Bay and Emmett back together. Because this show shows us a lot of different everyday problems like racism, sexual assault ect. And I think that they wanted to show that Bay and Emmett were each other’s first love and they didn’t want to let that go but they both changed and if they kept forcing it things would have ended really badly. I didn’t like they didn’t end up together until I saw the last episode and I understood. Ps: I still don’t like that she ended up with Travis 🙃

I found out about this show with Vanessa talking about her series right before the Gilmore girls a Year in The Life came out. she was saying the final season of her series would be coming out. I watched it on Hulu and then the last season as it aired.

Eventually she likely lose total hearing but there are days where it varies where she might hear pretty well & others where she doesn't hear much if at all. In another season they do an episode of a guy she's interested in who has this illness that she actually has in real life. The guy has to learn ASL because he knows he will eventually lose all his hearing. Eventually she will likely lose all of her hearing as well.
