Great interview. Jon Foreman is someone who shines God's light through his music. I see him as being really the epitome of someone who is spiritual vs. religious.

This needs 10 or 100 times the views it has. Great interview. Love Switchfoot & Jon Foreman!

very good interview for sure!. thanks CCM and Switchfoot!!. my personal perspective is that it SOUNDS as though jon was brought up in a Roman Catholic setting, but that's just a GUESS only because of the latin quote that that rolled of his tongue with no effort at all. but he's(jon) right on in trying to describe the Mystery of our Maker and the longing that we all SHOULD have in wanting to see Him face to face and trying to describe that in a song, amen?!. for those who CONTINUALLY criticize jon and the band members about their personal relationship with Jesus, i'm quite sure i heard jon SAY he's a sinner in need of the Savior and doesn't even BEGIN to pretend he has it figured out. this was NOT a theological interview. it was more about songwriting and what goes through the process of penning it and making into a song. my opinion only of course and i'm SURE there's many more to come!!.

He is member of which church? He goes to the church in Sundays for example?

Amador Gonçalves Neto - Reduza he is a touring musician so it’s very hard to attend one church weekly. What I find a lot of traveling musicians do is tune into a webcast of their home church, or listen to like David Guzik studies on line when we have free time. Usually the schedule is also so wild that a set church time can’t really be practical. So I’m sure that’s how he maneuvers it

the Church is very vital....but the bigger picture really is we are the Church! It isnt suppose to be limited to a building!!! And it is a good thing that it is not haha! God is sooooo much bigger than any of us, or any buildings and its incredible! When he is at his hometown, Im sure he has a regular Church that he is a part of with people he cares about, and also where he can learn More about his Heavenly Father. In the end I think God is more concerned with how we treat others with kindness, and love over if we make it to Church every Sunday. We all have our path, Ups n Downs all alike for better or worse...But in the end it will be the most incredible, amazing, awe inspiring when we all finally meet our Creator!

this is great. We forget that what makes God omnipotent is that he is misterious!
