See something here missed in a lot of other model train videos.....movement of automobiles at the grade crossing. Cars changed here from time to time. Nice idea and makes things look more realistic then just static models on display. Gives a more life like approach... (No pun intended)

I really enjoyed the video. You did a really great job on much of the detail and weathering. The fruit grower car is really nice. I too like the fact that you move your vehicles in and out of the scene adding to the overall experience rather than a straight static view. What brand are your vehicles? Are they road apples? I liked your sound module also..that added a lot. Great job, thanks for sharing.

it was a very nice video and hard to believe that was model!! Also just wondering because I am also building a layout, and was wondering if you knew where you got those railroad crossings? nice vid, keep it up!!

+littlepiggy The road is handmade out of a styrene sheet. The lights are commercially available, also the sound module sitting at the bottom side.
@apocalypserailroad90478 жыл бұрын
I love your road, how did you create that? Looks great!
@ddecodetailscom7 жыл бұрын
The road is made of a styrene sheet, the color is just acrylic primer and a little bit of weathering.

Pretty awesome operations going on within these module. I really love the detail. What decoder are you using? What dcc setup are you using? I hope to see more videos soon. I hope I can get this much detail into my operations once I get my layout is nearly complete.

These are MRC decoders with an Uhlenbrock Intellibox.

I'd like to know what kind of switch machines you have on your turnouts, sounds like you are electrocuting some one. Like your layout tho.
@ddecodetailscom7 жыл бұрын
The switch machines are servos.

Hmm, "Frodo's Frozen Food"...sounds like someone is a "Lord of the Rings" fan! LOL😉 BTW, why did you trim the "gladhands" back on the freight cars? Loved the vid, tho! ☺ Trainnut1958🚂🚃🚃🚃🇺🇸
@ddecodetailscom7 жыл бұрын
Some "gladhands" were so low that they conflicted with the rails.
