It doesn't. It's an aluminum build, just that the coating's texture kinda makes it feel a bit like plastic. Personally, I don't really care, as I use a case on mine anyways. Also, some people I've heard actually prefer this texture compared to an aluminum or glass one.

I kinda called this too.. in your Note8 review u said it’s not worth the price point. And couldn’t recommend it bc Samsung has cheaper lineups that does the same thing.. Now we have Apple- that is highly priced and offers cheaper phones in lineup that does the same thing ... *spits on ground like a French man*
