Switzer Falls - The Best River Hike in Los Angeles!

If you live in Los Angeles and don't want to travel too far to immerse yourself in nature, look no further than Switzer Falls! Located in the Angeles National Forest, you can find Switzer Falls just a brief drive up the CA-2.
This hike is almost 4 miles long and has an elevation gain of 700 feet. It's a beautiful hike up and down a canyon alongside a beautiful river. The best time to go is in the spring when the water is high from all the rain and melting snow.
Joining me on this hike is my wonderful fiancé, Bri! At the time of filming, we were still dating. This was filmed in January of 2023. It's taken me a while to complete for several reasons. Since January 2023 I completed my Master's in Film & TV Producing, participated in the CBS Leadership Pipeline Challenge, shot a documentary on how indie films get financed and distributed, and got engaged! It has been an exciting busy time! But I'm so happy to be able to get back to posting more travel videos. Some upcoming videos will be about Montana and Yellowstone in the winter, and Australia and New Zealand!! Can't wait to show you all!!

Been meaning to do this hike. Thanks for sharing! If you two want a really cool hike, check out stoddard falls near Mt. Baldy. There's an amazing waterfall/pool at the end of the hike.
