Hello Martin, good trip with nice weather. The countryside was beautiful with the Autumn color in the trees against the lush green hillsides. I agree with you about leaving the speed that a truck drive uses up to them and the conditions that they are driving in. Only the driver knows what speed is alright and safe when he's on the road. We have drivers here that drive just like the guy who kept braking, so stupid. The camera placement is great. Switzerland is really a beautiful place. Pet the Chimp and keep it up! 😁👍👍👍

Yeah, I will. :D It was great. If there were no customs processes at the border with Switzerland, I would like to go there more often. The scenery is beautiful and the people are friendly too. I'm supposed to say hello to you from the chimp. :D

Very nice Martin, used to enjoy CH except for the border at Weil am Rhein, this was in days before digital tacho’s so it must be a nightmare now. How about you show us more of the loading/unloading bits and around your Volvo a bit more? An sure many would be interested.

Hi, and thank you for your comment. I also go over the Weil am Rhein crossing in most cases. I'm lucky enough to go there mostly on days and times when I don't have to wait for hours at the border, but usually go straight through to customs or wait 30-45 minutes max. So it works even with a digital tachograph. I just have another video in progress from Basel and another Swiss city.

Hi, and thank you. The furthest I've been is in the north of Sweden. At the Arjeplog test site. I was loading two SUVs from Maseratti. I was on the road for 19 days straight.

Not yet. I don't have a bracket sorted out to mount the camera in place behind the cab. Plus, I've tried it a bit and there wasn't much interest in such a video. I'm sorry. But I'm not defending it.

How did you feel the difference between the Volvo Aero and the Volvo you have now?

Hey. Hey. Thank you for the interesting question. Both cars are more or less the same. I had a better ride with the Aero. Better view from the side window, cab suspension. The Aero was on springs and I was on bellows. I thought the bellows would be more comfortable, but the springs seemed to feel better. The interior is the same. Navigation was worse in Aero. They switched from TomTom to Sygic and it is tragic. Aero's nice. It's a nice truck.
