AGGRESSIVE SUMMER STORM IN SWITZERLAND
Lauterbrunnen is a picturesque valley and village in the canton of Bern, Switzerland, located in the heart of the Bernese Alps. It is known for its spectacular natural scenery, impressive waterfalls and access to some of the most beautiful mountain trails in the world. Here are some important facts about Lauterbrunnen:
- The Lauterbrunnen Valley** is one of the deepest glacial valleys in Switzerland, surrounded by rocky slopes that rise vertically to over 300 meters.
- The valley is famous for 72 waterfalls that flow from the steep cliffs. The most famous of these is Staubbach Falls, which falls from a height of 297 meters and is one of the highest waterfalls in Europe.
- Another notable waterfall is Trümmelbach Falls, an indoor waterfall formed by a series of 10 underground waterfalls, fed by the waters of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau glaciers.
- The village of Lauterbrunnen has a traditional Swiss charm with wooden houses and meadows full of flowers in the summer months.
- The valley and surroundings have inspired literary and artistic works, including the works of **J.R.R. Tolkien**, who was inspired by Lauterbrunnen for the description of Rivendell in the "Lord of the Rings" series.
- Lauterbrunnen is accessible by train, being well connected to the rest of Switzerland via the Swiss rail network. Also, from Lauterbrunnen you can make trips to famous tourist destinations such as Wengen, Mürren or Schilthorn (filming location of the James Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service").
- The Lauterbrunnen Valley is part of the UNESCO world heritage of the Jungfrau-Aletsch region, being a protected area due to its natural beauty and unique ecosystems.

Себастьян,здравствуйте!У природы нет плохой погоды,каждая погода по своему хороша.Вид все равно потрясающий.Свежесть во время и после дождя ощущается даже через экран.Ландшафт перед каждым домиком прямо радует глаз и очень разнообразно оформление в каждом дворе.Горы в облаках-не забываемое впечатление.Вопрос-а горы всегда спокойны?Все дома расположены как бы в каньоне или у подножия гор.У нас тоже сегодня целый день дождь,а я люблю не большой дождь и с зонтом прогуляться по лесу,так как он совсем рядом с моим домом.Слушаю классическую музыку и мечтаю.Водопады притягивают своей красотой и дают понять,что с природой лучше не шутить.Приятно прогуляться и помолчать вдвоем.Я из России и у нас сейчас-золотая осень в прямом и переносном значениях.Листва сейчас как все цвета радуги,очень красиво.Спасибо,что ответили на мой комментарий! Очень интересна сама история как отдельных поселений так и в целом Швейцарии.
