Maybe do an update comparing these to some Japanese options? KTC especially has a version where the head is much smaller, allowing for use in more cramped locations.

@@WorX4ToolZ it's the parent company that also makes Nepros. Koken is another great brand, as well as Tone. Japanese ratchets especially are really nice, low back drag.

All the people always bashing on Snap-On’s prices..., that man needs to keep a truck runninshow up every week finance you and warranty. When you really think about it you could spend $100 on the Gearwrench or $200 on the Snap-On. I’d rather support small USA based business than the Apex tool conglomerate made in Taiwan

Exactly those truck aren’t cheap it’s a big investment…and it’s your money spend it on what you prefer and don’t tell others what they should do with theirs right LOL

The split being design is the reason that you not make a half-inch drive. They are not as strong as pearhead ratchets.

these types of ratchets are not made to break encrusted or seized fasteners...hand strength only no pipes or cheater bars...with the huge amount of swivel they can get into areas where a standard ratchet and universal joint just wont fit...the 1/2 drive is plenty strong enough to torque or remove a fastener within reason....also for day to day use you can always get a comfortable natural angle on nearly any nut or bolt...i have dozens of ratchets from snap-on to Pittsburgh...but these are my go to now....i have the Olsa set.

I purchased Ic@n and Ols@ Both swivel heads are very good. One clicks a little louder than the other. I also like the Cr@ftm@n V Seri@s ratchets nice strong, tight gears and precise. Some ratchet packaging I looked at imply. A 90-Tooth = 4 - degree arc. A 72-Tooth is 5 - degree arc. The differences is not much to complain about. If the ratchet action sounds and feels and the grip feel good. I might try a 180 Tooth Cr@ftsm@n 0verdr!ve ratchet if they go on sale. M@sterf@rce and Cr@ftsm@n Both brands feel and sound good at the store.
