this is why I hate digital workstations. anything digital these days just means they want a subscription. anything subscription based these days is a fart in the wind. you think its really funny when you do it, then it blows away and you realise it was never that great to begin with, it was just a stinky fart.
@AtoragoN1Ай бұрын
I was tempted do buy the kemper player, but I have decided to wait few months to see whether there was some catch and I did damn well: they turned it into a "pedal as a service" scheme (quite an anti-consumer move, because the features are already there but locked behind a paywall). Plus the nano cortex costs 200 bucks less and makes profiles in 5 minutes in the box (kemper doesn't). No brainer.
@DwightstrokemАй бұрын
Yeah, the keeper is about $700 at Sweetwater right now, but spending another $300 to get all of the features? No thanks. If I’m already spending $1000 I may as well just save a little more and buy a full-size quad cortex, or buy a nano cortex and save myself some cash.😂
@powdermnky007Ай бұрын
No way I'm buying anything kemper now! I always recommend line6 to others because of the regular free updates! That's how you should be treating your customers! There is too much competition in the market to deal with that!

-Bring the white guitar, the relic on that one looks just right. That lead tone you got in the intro is badass. Hot rails ftw -Completely agree that companies should not charge for updates on software, that's a bad move -That was really cool they gave her a Jeff Hanneman sig. What a legend -To each his own but cannabis is safer than alcohol, dog. I'm all for Dime Estate to cash in on the impending cannabis boom that will happen stateside upon federal legalization. I look forward to the FDA having clearance to study it so we can learn more about its properties. Also people wont end up locked in a cage for possessing a flower -Midi is fantastic, life changing stuff. I made the switch to automated midi switching with my band a couple years back and it really helps us since we both do vocals. Having to also switch amp patches was hurting the performance. Also midi v2 is pretty interesting, it transmits both ways so only one cable -I love the band rehearsal segment. That could be a series that gives people insight into that side of being in a band. Definitely something all us musicians can relate to and would enjoy watching. Coffee cheers. Another great Swola, Brother 🤘

While cannabis certainly doesn't deserve to be warred against, it's still far from harmless, especially as a mental health trigger, especially for paranoia and shizophrenia.

Thanks for answering that kind of question Ola, I was wondering pretty much the same, particularly about how to get started with the software and the DAW in particular; you know, getting a general understanding of what each element does what. For the living room player and other old dogs like me, I recommend a powered speaker cabinet, like line 6 or something but get good speakers! then your chosen modeler, like pod go, cortex, or whatever, I got Ampero 2, connect your laptop to modeler and control it that way, I use apple too cause it’s so easy with pro tools to make back tracks or just play back tracks off KZbin , my recording game is weak but I’m getting the hang of it, it’s actually inspiring to play with this stuff

I'd like to help with the QOTD too, if that's OK? When it comes to beginner and intermediate Audio Interfaces you really can't go wrong with the smaller Behringer units. They're dirt cheap, they're supported for drivers and they do the job without any fuss. If you end up going a bit more professional, then by all means go more upmarket but to start "putting sound in and getting sound out", a Behringer really is your friend
