If you ever need motivation just remember that 90% of your fans are getting to the gym after working 9-5 jobs or people going to school trying to figure out how they can afford a good meal plan. You earned an amazing life for yourself, keep on top. Remember "the lion on top of the hill" story from Pumping Iron. Most of us would kill a man to be in your position. Take advantage bro!

Sometimes when you have tons of great experiences lined up one after another, in your case all of that awesome travel with your chick, it can be hard to go back to "normal" routine. Just gotta remember that those amazing experiences can only happen cause you work hard the rest of the time. Keep it up Steve you're an inspiration even when you have days, it just makes you more relatable (except for the badass physique)

When you care about a person, you automatically transmit their energies into yourself. I think that's the reason why both of you are feeling this way.Just either one of you gets all hyped & happy and then it's show time! ❤

Hey Steve, this vlog is exactly why I follow you. You keep it real. And your not afraid , or too self absorbed, to admit that you have these moments of struggle... which we ALL have. Its at these times that we have to find a quiet space (mentally), recognize where we are; acknowledge it; and then...make a move. Doesn't really matter where, just move...towards one of your goals. Even if it's out of sequence, the mere fact that you take that step towards something on your list is movement forward...and then you take another...and so on. Pretty soon you will find you've reagained stride again. While i'm sure you do, take comfort in knowing that you have a loving partner who is there for you through thick and thin....seriously. There is nothing like having a partner who not only loves you, but has your back as well. Keep your eye on the prize Steve. Take care

Steve, I met you one year ago in Utah. I had the shittiest day and all I wanted to do is go to the gym. I went into vasa fitness and you came out of the locker room with the biggest smile on your face. You knew that I recognized you and you wanted to meet me. I'll honesty never forget that day! I'll be watching your channel for how ever long you have a channel. You inspire so many people and I'm glad I'm one of those indiciduals. Sure, shit gets stressful. But you know what I do when I get stressed out...Watch a Steve Cook video. Keep on making the world a better place my dude!

You literally hit at home with me in this video. I've been SO exhausted and feeling like a robot. I went on a spring break trip a while back and it messed me up for a couple weeks. I just didn't feel the same after. A lot of stuff happened and I was thrown off track of where I was at before it. The thing that worked for me was sitting down and making peace with what happened and then setting little goals to get back on track

I write my goals down in a notebook. I have short term goals for the week, mid term goals for the month, long term goals for the year. I get motivated and I stay focused when I can see my goals on paper and I just tick them off one after another. It's my way of dealing with a lack of motivation. I do that a lot with my workout routines also.
@wonderfulfitlifeofelio7 жыл бұрын
Just remember why you started in the first place take away all the stuff that is being going in your mind and just go to the gym, or outside and work out. A full body workout sometimes helps to get back in the game instead of going with your regular split workout. Either way great to come back steve. Much respect

Lmao! I've been feeling this way (unmotivated) for the past, almost 4 years! 🤦🏾♀️ I used to run twice a day for 2 hrs, 4 times a week, and strength training 3 times a wk. Every now and then Then I'd throw yoga in for the weekend.....BUT then I started work at home and that's when things went downhill! I've since gained 10lbs since...! It's not as bad but yeah, I need motivation and almost 4 yrs IS BAD!!! I'm glad I watched this because it's good to see that I'm not the only one who struggles with motivation! Thanks for the video...totally needed it and glad to see you both support each other, back in the gym!

It's called a vacation brother. No flights anywhere, no worrying about anything. Just take a couple days or so to yourself, worry about absolutely nothing. Thank you, Steve for sharing this. We all have these days and can sympathize. You're not always going to be motivated, and I feel like many KZbinrs will only share the good days they have and not the ones where they feel like crap. But honestly, great athletes have many "crappy feeling" days because they train A LOT. Success is the accumulation of your training-the main thing is to keep consistently pushing towards that goal. Right on for going to the gym although motivation is low. Its about keeping/building habits sometimes.

Oh I needed to see this😂 My husband and I just came back from a wonderful vacation and getting back into the gym life was a struggle bus for sure! I would've laughed at the bird poop, because ya know things can always be so much worse!
