Proving you can solo the game if you cheese and exploit the hell out of it. Not everyone enjoys doing that. It's cool if you're fine with playing that way, but the game is meant for group play and the devs made that clear.

The honesty is nice. What I mean is most the youtube channels have only nice things to say, but the game is a hot mess. Now updates hopefully will make it better. But in reality paying 40 bucks for 1 plot in a building game is absolutely terrible. You will not have a nice looking house with 1 plot if you plan to put down a good number of crafting stations. The devs say the game is supposed to be a slow game, but really it is slow because it takes you 15 to craft an inventory of short stocks and another 15 minutes to turn them into arrows. And another 10 minutes to have made the arrow heads. Aka right now I am currently making 750 arrows while watching youtube because it is a waste of time. I literally will que up 100-200 crafts and go shower, eat, watch a show, check email. It took me 20 days to get about level 30 in all skills with 41 being the current max there is literally no content in the game. Remember it will be Faster to level once trading is allowed because I have extra hides that everyone needs till level 20 that would sell, but I cannot use. I have extra sinue because my fletching is 31 from making steal arrows. I have metric ton of tier 3 food as my cooking goes near 36 cooking. So the idea that you will finish this game in 20 days for 40 bucks cannot build much and most of the "playing" is me watching youtube instead of watching myself craft something is horrible design. Keep in might about 40 percent of you time is actually just chopping wood since you need wood to: build, fletching, charcoal. Charchoal is need for every ingot you will use in armorsmithing, weaponsmithing, blacksmithing. Heck fastest way to level 9 baking in with iron ingots... So you will be making charcoal. All the time 99 percent of player currently are SICK of cutting down trees.

@MrErockHiphop because the plots are broken and won't merge together properly I think they just need to make them squares, 1 plot should be the size of 2+ 1/2 current sized. Give non upgraded one plot. And upgraded 1 plot per upgraded wit a 3 cap. Make craftable loot drop extra plot that everyone can eventually get through progression.

I had the problem of the bear going "retreat" mode while fighting, so it took no damage. (healed instantly) BTW, SPEARS are top tier for the "get on something to fight", especially the pike (early game)

Where do I start? It's a game I'd been wanting to play for ages. I showed massive support a year ago, was completely ignored by the devs and staff. I've worked non-stop for over 5 years (nearly 19 hours a day) building an MMO channel with the stats that any game dev would be dumb not to bend over backwards and accommodate. Not only have I been completely ignored by the devs through steam, discord, work emails, personal emails, and support tickets, I was also unfairly banned on both the Steam and discord even though I didn't break any rules. Even though I have put massive work into the MMO niche with over 100k subs (Which is a vanity metric and doesn't matter) I do manage to get 1 million monthly views in the niche, which DWARFS all but the largest of creators. Every single creator that was "spotlighted" for a creator event before early access dropped the game immediately after taking their "bag." (Cash.) None of them play it, none of them support the game, and only a FEW of them had numbers better than mine. I'd be fine if any of them reached out and told me WHY I am being ignored, uninvited, not given a copy of the game for free despite ALL the other creators with like... 300 subscribers and a few thousand monthly views getting the 4 plot $100 copy on the house, but it gets even worse. Then you have people with such an insignificant following or view count that are for some reason getting mailed GIFTS from the devs. x.com/OgeruTwitch/status/1808532048732455226 This guy is mostly a Star Citizen streamer and is barely covering the game. WHY DOES HE GET a giftbox for the game? Wanna know why? It's cause he's AN EMPLOYEE masquerading as a streamer. Not only that, but every single streamer and content creator are "contracted" by Pax Dei to shill the game, not talk about bugs or glitches, the usual stuff. Demone Kim's got a twitch bot with a link to buy the game that he gets a cut of, and that's fine cause he's actively covering the game, is a decent sized channel, but then you have the 300 subscriber 2000 views a month channels also getting the same treatment, but why not me?! Make it make sense. Not only that, but the same guy just announced a giveaway of the game, of course, gifted to him by the devs. Why are the devs treating me in such a way? Why am I ignored? Why am I shunned? Why am I discluded? Why am I ostracized? Did I gank one of the lead devs or community managers in WoW or something? Are they biased towards Westerners? Poor people? I'd be completely fine if they JUST TOLD ME WHY but it's complete radio silence. I grew up, and still am, in the ghetto. When people WRONG you, we don't let that slide. That's not how things work. So of COURSE I will let my real feelings and thoughts on the matter be constantly brought up just to remind everyone that isn't living in la-la land who's hyper privileged rich kids that live in double decker houses in gated communities with supportive wealthy families the actual reality of the game and the developers. - So why do I make video guides then? Why not just trash the game every chance I get? A few reasons. 1) So I can rank my vids high and rub it in the developers face who chose to leave me out in the cold rain that even without their support or help I can still rise above the rest of their paid shills and fake streamer / youtubers. Maybe they'll regret in the future ignoring such a hard working treasure trove of information and QA testing. The rage I have is a FUEL, a MOTIVATOR. By ranking my vids higher than the fakes it's basically a "nya nya nuh nuh nuhhhh!" to the devs. 2) I am hella-poor IRL and rely on a games success to survive. If for whatever reason Pax Dei pops off, I'll have a bunch of vids that people will watch and I'll hopefully make bill payments and afford something else to eat besides beans and rice. A recent happening of this was the DLC drop of Elden Ring. Videos I made years ago are getting viewed again due to returning or new players. So maybe Pax Dei will bloom in the future? If not at least I tried. 3) One of my biggest regrets when I was younger when spending thousands of hours playing games was not retaining all the knowledge and information I worked so hard to obtain at the time. I want to be able to return to a game ten years later and retain some of that knowledge and power. An example of this is when I played Age of Empires 2 wayyy back in the day on the MSN gaming ZONE, when the game was new. I was a very high ELO player, but because I didn't make too many text guides for build orders, and video guides wasn't a thing back then, I didn't get to retain all those hours I put into the game, and when I returned to play it 15-20 years later, I was getting dominated by 1250 elo scrubs, and I refuse to waste more time into a game I had already played. So by making these videos I can "retain" some of the time spent in them so it's not completely wasted if I want to return to them years later. 4) I like attention. I am basically a "time vampire" of sorts. Making guide vids exposing the "real" ways to do stuff, exploits or not, upsets normies, redditors, and the like. I enjoy and take great fun in being a minor inconvenience to guilds who want to monopolize such games and feel strongly about sticking up for the solo players out there, of which I am one of. So I get to help my fellow bros, and piss off the opposition, what's not to like? 5) Tying into #1, I have no other option to escape poverty. I literally have to do youtube as there's nothing else I can do to make ends meet. Working retail or fast food my entire life isn't living, nor is it a way to someday escape poverty. Nothing I can do can get me educational certifications or a better paying or more secure job. KZbin isn't secure but it has potential. Asmongold makes more in a single day afk doing nothing than I can make in 2-3 years. Sure he has a rich dad with connections that got him there but even if I can get a fraction of that it's worth trying to achieve, as any other "normal" means of success are impossible. (Can't get educational certifications, no generational wealth, no connections, no friends, no family, no way to acquire alternative useful skills, place I live has lack of opportunity to escape, can't "move" to a better place as it's not an option.) 6) Part of being a youtuber is one of my only potential ways to make friends or find like minded people I can get along with. So maybe if I make vids for this game I can find cool people to play with, and that makes gaming worth the time invested. Sadly this hasn't worked. I am aware this is a "me" problem but I refuse to pretend to be something I'm not. I DID do that for WoW Classic to get geared cause it was my final bucket list to achieve and it was soul destroying trying to be a normie and "fit in" with other normies. Never again. From research it seems like twitch might be a more successful place to achieve this, but I really hate twitch's dumb rules (No stream sniping, no cheating, no saying certain words.) so I refuse to use it. Oh well. Hopefully this answers your questions. If not ask away.

The game is early access and isnt even ready for that level of release, hell there is gaps in the landscape still. But definitely not a solo game. Even with 2 people it's not player friendly at all. Need a min of 5 people in a clan or you will be spending your entire lifespan trying to get anywhere. It is possible to do crafting and base building but that will eventually cap.
