Dope interview. Swoop’s story of gettin’ shot in the leg is very similar to mine. I was shot in the leg in front of the PA’s (Poly Apartments) in 2001. Same thing… didn’t know I was hit, tried to run, leg collapsed. Good to see him out, full of life, doin’ his thang. Eastside up! ✊🏽

You'd be surprised at they type of funny-style shit that goes on in the hood between homeboys that belong to the same set. That money was given to him as a "good lookin' out" check. Basically it was given to him because he stayed in line and didn't embarrass the older homey in public. During that time things were on edge so Swoop basically played his part out in public by making it look like the hood was standing strong and disciplined.
