Damien loves DMing lol, literally can't contain his excitement over his players choices. My entire group including myself are new players and our DM allowing us to explore the funny moments and laughing with us, such as Damien does, has been the highlight of the sessions. We once had a moment where a guard was suspicious of our group carrying around some fancy rugs we had acquired (legally) and I did the jedi mindtrick "These are not the rugs you're looking for." Rolled like a 23 total and the DM handled it great, literally just repeated the phrase back in the guards voice. So awesome. After watching a lot of other campaigns, I've come to the conclusion that this is my favorite. I love Damiens story telling and the groups great characters.

The fact that this is Damien's first time DMing is unbelievable. The way he tells a story and creates this incredible world is the kind of storytelling I look for in books. His storytelling is so captivating, and the characters and settings have so much depth to them. And his voice acting definitely helps give the characters depth. It's incredible and I'm super proud of him for taking on the challenge of being a DM and on the internet in front of millions of people as well. Edit: Omg I commented this before I saw the two dream sequences in episode 5 and omg, I'm going insane. Like he's such an incredible storyteller I am blown away. I was just watched another content creator plays DnD for the first time, it got me interested, I've always have an interest on this fantasy adventure RPG thing but never really have a chance to play DnD since it's not very popular in here. Suddenly Sword AF pops up on my KZbin recommendation and poof, it got me hooked on DnD for around 2-3 weeks now, I really want to start my own campaign after bingewatching this series. The cast of Sword AF are all amazing, I think they're doing great in creating their character since it made me felt connected with them, their chemistry on each other are also felt real. I love all of our main characters, made me want to do adventures with them too. I just figured that these cast were also having another content too which I'll watch while waiting for SAF S2. Other than that, the DM, my guy here doing an awesome job in narrating the story, giving life to this series, the worldbuilding is perfect, very fantasy like, but also making a lot of NPCs that are good too, bonus some backstories, also doing very well in acting and voicing lots of characters, I personally think it's some very cool skill right there. A lot of appreciation also goes to the whole team that put a lot of work on this series, the music, the character design, the editing, everything mixed into a bowl resulting in a soup of masterpiece. Thank you so much for Smosh Games on making this lovely content. I can't wait for season 2 now.
