dude another incredible thing the editors did was add SOUND EFFECTS! I absolutely adore the immersiveness, this is so incredible. the thought of someone watching this whole damn thing and taking a few minutes to find certain specific sounds (that some people may not even consciously notice) for every audible action is just so insane to me. absolute dedication.

Damien loves DMing lol, literally can't contain his excitement over his players choices. My entire group including myself are new players and our DM allowing us to explore the funny moments and laughing with us, such as Damien does, has been the highlight of the sessions. We once had a moment where a guard was suspicious of our group carrying around some fancy rugs we had acquired (legally) and I did the jedi mindtrick "These are not the rugs you're looking for." Rolled like a 23 total and the DM handled it great, literally just repeated the phrase back in the guards voice. So awesome. After watching a lot of other campaigns, I've come to the conclusion that this is my favorite. I love Damiens story telling and the groups great characters.

Oh yeah, that “I’m scared” was so perfectly delivered, it actually broke my heart. Genuinely, you can tell this whole project is a product of love. What’s so good about this series as well as betrayal is that everyone is actually enthusiastic to be there! There was definitely a period of smosh games where it felt like people were just in videos but didn’t care about them whereas now it feels a lot more like people actually WANT to be playing these games and it makes the videos a hundred times better

Many people in my life play DND and I have been interested in playing, and Sword AF became my perfect introduction to it. Seeing the development of each character and the story being woven as a whole, I was truly impressed and excited. If he never said it, I would not have believed this was Damien's first time as a DM; he did such a wonderful job.
