@@MinhLe19303 nah. That's not the main reason. Reki said that there are more events and many surprising things happening in Moon Cradle but need to put on hold because of lack of certain ideas about it, hard world developing and about the upcoming Arc Unital Ring.

Wouldn't this have all ended if they had Asuna do the talking? She is, for all intents and purposes, the reincarnation Stacia, the Creation Goddess of Underworld, so all she would have to do is prove her Status, and all 4 Emperors would've bent their knee, right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

You are not wrong, though Asuna frequently told everyone who called her a god that she is not one. Knowing the emperors, they might have learned Asuna make this claim and hold it over head and called her out for it if she used that argument.

@@MinhLe19303 The picture of Cruiga is actually a flashback/dream Ronye has of when she and Tiese confronted Cruiga during the rebellion as seen here. ... The spoiler: it turns out Cruiga and the other emperors are still alive as they researched ways to gain immortality, which resulted in them learning to store their memory/conscious in an item which is used to control a makeshift body. It is implied they are working with Dee Eye El's faction of dark mages since the emperors are using bodies created from the minion arts the dark mages use.

@@hiromitailor8075 I see.... I know the story is not concluded, but can I at least know that if the four emperors fates are properly concluded this time. So that at least I know Kirito and co. only defeat remnants of dark mages for 100 years until the appearance of Abysmal Horror.

@@MinhLe19303 Sadly Reki has not provided any more information on this. Since Kirito recently returned to UW in Vol 24, Reki may be wanting to incorporate UW and its affairs in the plot of Unital Ring, so we may learn what happened to the emperors and their accomplices during those 100 years.
