@@Sirciel it’s dank, but definitely a mobile gacha game so set that expectation. Furthermore, you can’t choose which direction your character faces when you end your turn which is an odd choice for a tactics type game.

Gloria is just so OP. Her kit do so many buff and debuff that I just lost track of what do what and end up not getting the most out of her.

Very excited for Convallaria, so I'm happy to see that you'll be covering it! Gloria's character design was what initially drew me in, so it's a bonus to see that she's also so strong. Beautiful pixel art and being a tactics RPG are just the cherries on top.

I'm weird in that I find myself just as if not more interested in why characters end up bottom to mid tier. I dunno, I guess I like the number crunching and the game design discussion. There could also be a point in looking into low tier characters enough so that early game accounts can invest just enough into them to progress without stressing out that we are missing out on progress.

If anyone is familiar with this game, what does it mean we can grind dupes in the game? Are the dupes locked behind content? Or is it like Wuwa where SOME dupes (the two wavebands) are locked behind coral?

one copy is enough and you can grind the memory shards or pull them via dupes

There is kinda dungeon with lvls, that on highest lvl give you 9 character shards(if I recall correctly). It’s common to do those dungeons with team of 3, so it’s 3 per character, every day(one run per day). It’s about a month to 3 star character and about 3 months to 5 star.

Yes, but there's seperate Pity between Debut banner and Duo Banner Make sure u save pull for Debut banner pity, don't try use it on Duo banner or other banner if u thinking to build pity

How have there been no balance patches after this long? Why would they leave Teadon etc at the bottom of the barrel? Epic 7 has a set in stone, guaranteed balance patch every 1.5 months. None of the 5 star units are ever allowed to fall into obscurity for too long. Weird that they would just throw money away like this...

After playing for a while I don’t think the tier list is just. There should only be tier 0 and tier 1. Tier 0 units are busted while other units are usable. Every unit in this game even the lowest rarity are pretty damn usable. I and others have beat tower 5 with bronze units. It’s difficult but very fun. 5 stars chars have the leeway of having beefier stats so that alone should get you somewhere. With the tier 0 chars you just steamroll everything I never need more than 2-3 rounds to finish a stage. So for some challenge, don’t use them. The game becomes too easy.
