I'm kind of behind on weapon bosses. But I beat level 55 using your tips. I still don't have Butterfly, but I used Edda instead and it worked well. She has a team buff, assist attacks, and a shield break attack also. She can also kill the blue stones well. I'm going to power up a bit more and then try 60 as well. Thank you :)

@@syadizz I tried 55 when I was level 45 and it was pretty easy. 60 is a bit challenging to finish, but I think if I power up a bit more I should be able to do it.

It's good to see different kind of approach like this. I used the archetype 3 seekers comp to beat the lvl 55 version of this boss n it was rly hard. Might give a try on Outlaw archer n Butterfly. And I'm still planning to beat the lvl 60 boss before 45 (currently at 38).

Yeah ive seen so many clear as well, but this is the only thing i can do with the units that i have.. :( hopefully others can clear it as well because i got so many questions about who could subtitute Col for the seeker role. i was about to think that seeker could really shine on this one, since the single target attack could be dodge as well

@@aMagicJoif it helps, I use Crimson Falcon for this (alongside Col with the aura, which is a huge buff). Her ability to get an extra two move after a turn is really helpful for setting up for the next turn. She’s an easy 5 star during voyager, and lock-on is a basically permanent Def Down II throughout the fight. Your guides are excellent, by the way! I love watching these creative clears. Amazing work.

Thanks for the strat, though used Edda instead of Nightingale and NonoWill instead of Vlderian scout. Also as support skill i've put an archer at the top left of the boss, was another source of dmg every turn.

Wasn't able to clear it last time, this time trying to do it with Edda, I wonder if Angel alone is enough as a healer? Unfortunately my Buttefly has a different build I used for the tower, so no AoE heal for me. I also have Gloria, not sure if I should use her instead of Outlaw Guard there.

:'( i think Edda would does really well on this stage, she has all the kit to deal hugee damage to this boss!! yes Angel is great when she has more stacks of devil, she could heal around 1700 hp !! Gloria is a beast as well ! i believe you can clear it. as long as you have lvl 50 equipments , you'll do fine but i suggest you still to have the outlaw guard, because his debuff are so usefull..

@@aMagicJo Yeah, I just managed to clear it, fortunately I didn't need the full level 50 gear in the end, level 50 weapons was enough. Teleport tech really helped.

Good template for a F2P method of beating this level! I ended up switching out the Crossbowman for Abyss instead and putting the Disaster Bottle on her as her constant Debuffs were really helpful for this level; plus Abyss has good natural MDEF, which I didn't have the Fancy Hat, so she was able to survive a lot easier. I also ended up switching out my Vlderian Scout for my Col instead, because this trial was basically built for her. And I didn't have the Reorganized Cube, so I ended up having to switch out Flagellant for Regenerate instead for my Angel. In hindsight, I personally think Ballista is much better than Outlaw Crossbowman. His PDEF Debuffs and Shield Breaking buff that he gets on his left R3 skill is incredibly useful for this boss and is essentially just Outlaw Crossbowman but better. Also, since you use March Command, I feel like Crimson Falcon would be a better candidate over Vlderan Scout, as her Shadow Gait helps a lot with maneuvering around the map. Plus, her Lock-On skill makes her very useful for shield breaking. Plus, the fact that should have her 5 Star at this point makes her a much better candidate for a Seeker. All-in-all, a great F2P guide for this weapon trial! I desperately needed something like this because all of the other guides use Gloria, which I don't have. Thanks so much!

thank you !! and yes if you have Col, just use Col, she is really good on this stage ! i did this because i don't have Col either, and so many people who doesnt have her are struggling to clear this. i saw Nemi TV clear, he's done a very good job as well withou col for lvl 65 ! now you mentioned it, i think i start to fall in love with Balista as well, i think he has a lot of damage as well with the shield break ability , thanks so much for letting me know that

Wouldn't Ballista or some melee option be better than Outlaw Crossbowman? Or is Infection simply too important for taking out this boss? I'm very short of watcher materials in particular, so I'm not sure if investing into him is such a good idea. Another suggestion is to use the Legendary mallet on the Axe user, as it dispells the buffs from the target with every attack, so if you picked a different ability on Burterfly, you can still prevent the boss from getting too many stacks. EDIT: Nevermind, I just watched the end and some of the alternatives were suggested there.

I don't have Disaster Bottle for butterfly. I can't get the buffs off of the boss and it keeps one shotting my healer. Any suggestions?

Oh no.. may i know what unit do you have and the level youre on right now? you could pretty much use another unit that has dispel on their basic attack or just put 1 unit with judgement tarot whisperer.

@@aMagicJo I'm using Inanna as my healer and my characters are all 47. At 16:29 is where everyone is being wiped, I think that last disaster bottle right before the AOE saves your healer because of the heal Butterfly gives. My gear is at 50 as well. Maybe it's RNG at this point.

@@Kimchijoe try to position your unit well then, maybe try to seperate them in 2 group, 3 and 2 units . let the strongest 3 got the AOE from the boss and the 2 units just stand near the boss after dealing dmg. the reason why i am using angel it's because of her m.def command as well. it makes your team survivability chance higher than using Inana. and check the debuff on the boss as well, make sure you applied the Atk down lvl 2 on the boss before it will land the big AOE skills on that turn

@@aMagicJo Thanks for all the help! I bit the bullet and used a castalia to learn Angels MDEF skill around her. But I don't know why but the boss only hit the crossbowman instead of Angel and he kept dying so I put used Ballista instead, put an engraving on him for MDEF and he survived with 20 health after 2 tries. RNG was finally helpful. After he survived it was really easy to finish him off. Looking forward to your level 65 video!

@@Kimchijoe glad you finally manage to cleared this stage yay ! umm sometimes you must check the buffs. check if that unit has mdef up from angel's heals or not. because sometimes it'll mess it up.. :( good luck for the lvl 65 ! :3

Can't get past round 2 omen attack, hitting my dps for 5k dmg when they have all have 750+ mdef and making sure their backs is not facing boss. Not sure whats going on

@@franzkiernan that's such a progress ! welldone ! hmm honestly without engraving and good units or gears it's going to be a bit harder to clear the lvl 60 weapon trial.. my suggestion is, try it 1 to 3 times, if the result is still the same then you could wait until lvl 50 because the power spike for lvl 50 is hugee!

@@xLinksDreheRx yeah i mean it's not a template, you could always try with the units that you have no stress. if you dont have judgement, then i would say, yes it's a must have. but if you have judgement tarot, with one dispeller i think you will be fine

@@aMagicJo i did try your team, now granted my o.cbowman has two blue abilities and has no whale hunter and fancy hat (i swear to god my rng drops including tarots kinda blows) (also tried to swap him with ballista) and i swapped vlderian with falcon but with less movement, my o. guard has near perfect build same as yours and my angel has no penance but im already at lv 50 and still it oneshots my team like no matter what i would swap whether be gloria rawiyah etc. it still wont work (that aoe burst numbers fcking BS like we're supposed to survive THAT?!!!!!! and below lv 50 no less) like the only thing that MAYBE saves the team is praying to RNG overlords that your disaster bottle lands on dmg reduction (still oneshots the team lmao) like what do i even do???!!! This is a terribly designed boss imo like in other 2 stages there's at least a clear mechanic that easier to like play around even at lower leveled accounts but with this boss it kinda goes "LMFAO GET STAT CHECKED B*TCH" (also i hate the existence of castalias as premium currency, players should be able to at least respec abilities in the tree, just a suggestion, i dunno)

@@thegoldexperience8340 thanks for sharing it with soo much detailed information, umm i see if you have Gloria and Rawiyah i think you could sub some units with them, what's your gloria build? do you have solemn aura that reduces 10% attack and def on her ? if you do then probably just use it and timing your flag before the aoe attack. the boss should have permanent atk reduction from o. guard using intimidate ability. just make sure u have upgraded all the tarot and gear to lvl 60 at least for weapon and tarot then finish the chapter 8-5 on fool's journey to unlock engraving. that's my best advice that i could give for now

@@aMagicJo my gloria build has double sided halberd and i have knightly aura, sadly Haven't unlocked 8-5 (my week's schedule rn is cooked jesus little downtime for leisures💀💀💀) and also i have tons of like off skills (my o.cbowman has the strike back reaction passive instead of dmg reduc and bonus atk when healthy) and trinkets are rare asf (NC ONE XD GAMES GATE THE GEARS FOR EVENTS, ARENA AND MONTHLY TOWER, SURELY EVERYTHING GOES WELL WITH ADDED RNG FOR NO REASON🙃🙃) im sorry if i sounded salty rn because my god, it's like everything i do with this boss just doesn't work and i don't have the luxury of time spent on experimenting stuff especially for the people that have absolute shit luck even on tarots. Either way, if by any chance I still can't clear stage 9 on lv 60, i might have to just to handhold my account i guess on dc

@@thegoldexperience8340 don't do that and don't stress it too much, take your time because if you couldn't clear that content it is not gonna be the end of the world, and try to consistently farming the tarot first so you could have better ones to use on your units. sometimes it might takes time to clear the stage and the strategy as well. tbh i only play like 2 - 4 hours a day now, just do daillies and clash and that's it hahaa
