Fantastic job! The mood is dark and the landscape appropriately stark and foreboding. The fog helped the mysterious feel, as did the music. The subtitles were clear and didn't distract form the action. With only 8 minutes of film, you established a great premise that would mesh the two genre's into a great feature film. Investors should definitely look at this project. This should be in theaters!

This is absolutely brilliant, from head to toe, fantastic. I want to commend you for your awesome work, it felt like a modern take, a la Christopher Nolan, on Kurosawa classics. I hope whatever project you're trying to get approved/investors on gets approved/finance, because a feature length version would really blow my hair back. Really, this is grand. I think the only nits I could pick were the CG flies and the Hungry Corpse's acting clashed with the editing at the start of the conversation, the flow/continuity wasn't 100%, but these really are subjective nits I'm picking, you did a fantastic job, congrats to you and your crew for bringing this together.

I was writing a story with this same theme and I started to think: probably someone thought of something like that. Zombies and samurai match perfectly. So I found this short movie and cursed you for stealing my idea. But after I've watched, I just have to thank you. Great visual, perfect BW, gorgeous photography and a awesome editing. I want the full movieie I'm from Brazil and I'm a filmmaker! Congratulations on the excellent work!

WOW! You got a fan here, I hope to see your work on the big screen one day. I've just seen the Star Wars Fan Film, impressed for it I clicked on the Sword of the Dead video and now I'm atonished. I am really fond of the feudal Japan stories, samurais, creatures and ghosts; and I love japanese ancient scary tales so your work of art was perfect to me, I truly enjoyed it. That back and white shoot gave me some of the manga aesthetic. Only a few minutes but ASTOUNDING!

i think it is really good and would love to see a full length film, though the one part that i found off was that the zombies are timed too conveniently, when he stood up there were suddenly zombies around him that didnt attack. otherwise i really liked it
