It’s the sword of Khamul the Easterling. Second in command to the Witch King.

Another great video! The newer releases of both the Witchking and Ringwraith swords have an updated pattern etching to the blades like the Morgul dagger. The original releases had a much more random and organic etching done to the blades that made them look darker, but less corroded. The slip box art is left over from the previous runs and will be used until they run out. As for the felt dots on the plaques, I used them but only where and if the sword actually contacted the wood, just to keep any additional wear from forming on the sword. I suggest a black wash on the blade to give it a weathered feel to match the prop. I eventually want to add knicks and cuts on my blade with a dremel to give it additional age.

Ahh ok that's kinda what I figure with the art box situation. Maybe I'll start using the black dots... I guess you don't seem them much anyway. Hopefully 1 day I'll get around to altering the blades like you said... will probably reach out to you to hear your process and for any tips. Thanks as always for commenting man, really appreciate your insight.

I put the felt pads on. Ones like Anduril which have a extra wooden piece to keep it from moving around is so nice to me and I have the felt pad on it. I also put them on the back to prevent my walls from being scuffed which is helpful to me. If I’m not mistaken I think the instructions on mine told me to put them on the back but I could be mistaken. I ended up getting Theoden’s sword to round off the corner in my room of the 3 pieces I own and all the felt pads went on the back. Long message for a short answer but loved the video!

I don’t put the felt pads on. To each of their own I guess. Love this sword, definitely very cool and badass. And then……hahaha. I was killin myself laughing when you put those in. Haha. Very long sword indeed. Cheers buddy, awesome video.

Bonjour depuis la France 😊 Excellente vidéo et en très bonne qualité 👌🏻 Et pour finir les petits patins noirs en velours sont pour mettre à l'arrière de la plaque et pas l'abîme en contacte avec le mur !

Just got one of those a couple months ago. I'm going to build a full standing Ringwraith to hold it. Thinking about making a motion activated Ringwraith screeching sound effect for it. 😲Can you imagine the reaction when someone walks up to it.😂 I have a warped sense of humor.☺

I'm curious - did the hilt on yours line up with the blade? I had a couple that I ordered and then ended up returning because the blades were out of alignment with the hilt. The hilt has pretty clean geometry, and the the peak that extends from the cross guard should run in a straight line along the central ridge of the blade and down to the point. Both of mine had a significant deviation where the point of the blade ran off-axis from the peak on the cross guard, and I was wondering if you noticed something similar on yours.

Haha when I first loaded this video up I was about to type, wow I never noticed how strong you accent was before.. Great video though, I managed to get hold of a WK sword recently but honestly I much prefer the regular wraith sword, plus I swear the WK sword I got has the worst paint job on the handle I have seen. I also managed to get the LOTR version of the Morgul blade though which says something about it being an art proof x of 300, or something along those lines. I don't suppose you know their worth?
@thecyberhobbit Жыл бұрын
hey there, no sure how I missed your comment, sorry for the long delay :D Yeah I think I prefer the regular wraith sword too. Sorry I don't know the worth of an art proof, never actually of that on these before. Hope all is well dude happy new year!
