Great game, though I didn't back the KS because I don't like this format. I prefer everything in one book. If they had done a digest sized version like Old School Essentials, I would have jumped on it. And their monster supplements are great, albeit massive.

Can you use mini and grid for combat or just theater of mind?

The rules for miniatures combat are not very detailed, but you could certainly do it. In many cases it would make combat encounters better as everyone can visualize the scene.

I tired to keep the unboxing light and positive. Saving criticisms for a more in depth review. I wouldn't say I was impressed. At all.
