The commentators mentioned it, but this was actually a pretty big win for aMSa. As far as I can see, his last win against a top 50 Peach player was against Bladewise at BoBC2 4.5 years ago! Technically he also beat Kalamazhu earlier at this event, but they had never played before.

Does anyone know why Amsa doesnt use his dair all that much? It seems like hes been implementing it more in recent sets but I always thought it was better than Amsa's limited usage of it suggested.

dair is slow (basically as slow as fair) and the hitboxes are quite small, so it’s not very effective as a neutral tool. amsa does use it for certain edgeguards, like the dtilt dair edgeguard he was doing against gahtzu in this tournament

Amsa's spacing sometimes seemed kinda slowed down cause llod Just could grabbed him easily on ys, cause Amsa just rolled slowly with the egg. But nevertheless great set 💪🏽🤙🏾
