I would never drive my machine on rocks like at the beginning of the video, I'd be too worried about destroying something expensive. BUT, I love watching you guys do it! The Commander had a great line through it.

We are here being stupid so you don't have to! LOL. You know us, we love a challenge. The first time or two you hit this ledge its sketchy but once you find the line it's not that bad. The things about climbs like this is that a few inches in one direction can make it look easy and a few inches in the other direction can lead to carnage.... as you witnessed.

That was a great video dude! I got to say those knuckleheads that went around you and cut all the trees down to make their own trail are the exact reasons why trails get shut down. That's just not acceptable. They ruin it for all of us.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 2 жыл бұрын
Ya, I don't have anything to say about the guys personally since I don't really know them enough to make judgement but the majority of the people in our crew that day would agree that there was no need to cut those trees. If that tree they cut behind the X3 wasn't there when he rolled he likely would of ended up on his roof. Like I said, I'm no tree hugger but at the same time there is no sense cutting more on the trail then needs to be cut. We like to keep trails challenging, tight and technical. You know what our home trails look like. However, when your out riding at a place like this there is only so much you can do. Multiple people stated we would move and multiple people suggested they don't cut trees but they had their own game plan.

Hey Julien. Another awesome video bro. Thanks. I have a z force 950. It's not like you would think it is. As I put a lot of money into it and it sits on a beautiful set of 32s. I've been all over tekoa mountain in Massachusetts. And I never had any problems with it. It's actually very dependable. A stock 950 can not do it. But I have it built up pretty awesome. I know you don't like the 950 . But If I had a chance to go out with you guys I believe you would start to like this one. Anyway the guy with the portals on his probably has lots of limitations would never be able to go on a lot of trails that I take on Tekoa but it is an awesome vehicle in the right places. The roll is just a result of a failed attempt climbing that obstacle, it's likely to end that way regardless of their previous behavior. Jason in the Maverick X3 is a good dude. He's just a fun loving guy that loves pushing the limit no matter what. As for his passenger not wearing his harness, that was a big mistake that could have ended very badly. Jason the driver was wearing his harness. However, when I spoke with Jason on the phone the other night he said he should have been more firm with his passenger in regards to the importance of the safety belts. It was a lapse of judgement but luckily it did not end in injury.

You know what they say about Karma Trevor... It's a bitch!! lol. I think Jason means we, he is just a fun loving dude that always pushes the limit. Luckily no one was hurt and the machine was OK. Regardless of how people act or what I might think of certain behaviors I don't wish anything bad on anyone. Carnage can be fun but within reason. It's never a good time when someone gets hurt, regardless of who they are or how I feel about them. I'm in the business of helping people not harming them. Let's hope this was a learning experience.

Hey Rob, thanks for the awesome comment!! Super happy to read you enjoyed the video!! Ya, it's crazy how a few inches of miscalculation can impact so much on an obstacle like that rock climb. If the dark blue YXZ gave it a touch more throttle he would of cleared that ledge that messed him up and if he gave it a touch less it would have landed a little short and could have potentially not caused all that damage. It was a worst case scenario for him. Then like you said, the white one just walked it and made it look easy, lol. As for my awesome girlfriend Kseniia, she is a trooper, for putting up with all of us and for getting all those badass shots! We are all lucky to have her as part of the team!

Jezuz. Great day! One question Julian - how hard is it to problem solve and react with that overwhelming audience of experts?
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd 2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha, you mean all the random people around thinking they know best or they want to run the situation? If you pay attention to Fish and I when we have bigger group rides you will see we have an established trust and a system. We decide we are going to solve a problem together and we basically for lack of better terms ignore everyone else around us. We devise a plan and execute. That's why you see I always confirm an action with him, he always double checks with me to make sure I heard or gives me a nonverbal signal like an arm command. It's too hard to coordinate with everyone especially when often its strangers you haven't worked with before and don't have an established trust level with. You'll see on other rides where it's more of the core group it could be me, Fish, Corney, and Tyler for example. We take ownership over a breakdown or a stuck and solve it. Next issue Greg could take lead with Colin and Tyler. No sense of having too many cooks in the kitchen and we have an unwritten kind of agreement that one or two people control a situation and then if help is needed tasks are delegated or assistance is requested. At the end of the day we are all a team and have the same ultimate goal. To have a good and safe ride. Breakdowns and unforeseen issues are a routine part of off-roading and to a certain extent we all enjoy it. Hope that answer makes sense.

OK agreeded getting better at recovery is paramont, 33:04 is called a redirect, it allows a change in direction of your pull, to double up the power of the pull, always attach the snatch block to the vechicle being recovered. I love this video that talks about that.. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGnOmq1ql9iUjs0 I can see in this instance you wanted to get the front end of the bogged vehicle up and swing over. Great way to do so, we did something similar when my daugther rolled the rzr in the mud puddle last weekend. If you are using the winch on the recovery vehicle with a snatch block then it is a mechanical advantage of pull.

This was in the morning. No drinking and driving. As you could see all the beers that dumped were full, lol. You can clearly see no one is impaired here. Also, as far as beers go there is nothing wrong with the passengers having some fun and having a few drinks. Yes, the passenger should of been wearing my his seatbelt and he learned his lesson. Luckily without getting hurt. I find people are so quick to judge online but think about it before you start making judgements. There is an aggressive way to call out a mistake and also a constructive way. Anyone watching our videos for a while will know we are quite respectful when it comes to riding manners and behaviours on the trails. I’m willing to say we have all done things that weren’t right or by the book and we have learned from them. I guess some of the people leaving comments haven’t ever made a mistake or had a lapse in judgement. We are all out having fun. No ones goal is to get hurt. Sometimes people don’t make the right judgement call. That’s life. We try to learn from it.

All BS set aside, it actually brings attention to a really important topic and encourages discussion. Seat belts should be worn at all times in these machines and helmets too when riding aggressively. Accidents can happen at any time.
