Got it together and welded up yesterday. Went well, the rivtab was awesome. Expected some tweaking but everything was almost perfect. Had the same issue as Leo with the top crossbraces. They’re in my scrap pile as the tube is directly above the seat.

Wow some of the music played while they were putting the cage together took me back to the 80’s. It was great for a few minutes. On another note that gen2 sounds like crap compared to the 6.2.

Houser advertised that factory windshields work with this cage. They are correct but if you have a wiper you will want to flip the intrusion bars.

Now that the WRX is properly broken in... upgrade time. Forester suspension lift, long-travel Bilsteins, WRX STI hubs and brakes, and forged Method rally wheels and dirt tires. Show the Raptors what a much lighter rally car can do. Amazing how close to that sort of thing new sport SxS unit really are, though. Now that Polaris is doing the Xpedition ADV Northstar, it has roll up windows with a full cab, a folding rear seat, heating, AC, sound system, it is pretty much an automobile... and costs as much as a new WRX Limited, too.
