SXS Ranch I agree. I broke mine in for a bit but have been wide open ever since. I trail ride, drag race mine and ride constant high rpm on highway every now and then too. Only got around 30 hrs on the motor.

Mine had 560 miles on it, 71 hours on the motor. My XMR Turbo R is getting a new belt this weekend though. I’ll use the current as a spare. 5 days of hard riding coming up. Rather be safe and put a new belt on in the garage instead of on the side of the trail in the dark :)

Buy the gates Gforce c12 belt...... less money, carbon cord, and gates makes the polaris OEM belts. I will never run a polaris OEM belt again, its sits in the machine as a spare for emergencies only... gates c12 belts are just a little bit wider so the clutch grabs harder and the last belt lasted me 1200+ miles of pure abuse! Plus gates has a year warranty on their belts.
@AllThingsOffroad696 жыл бұрын
Yep! All I run in my junk. OEM is on board as a spare.
@JDSTACTICAL6 жыл бұрын
Gates on a XP turbo are garbage!
@Jizden_Mipanz6 жыл бұрын
JSoutdoorlife have you used the new c12 designed for the turbo? Gates previously didn't have a belt for the turbo and everyone was using the 1000 belt because some retailers were offering it as a replacement for both. If you haven't ran one on the past year or so, I would give it a try. You might be surprised!😎
@JDSTACTICAL6 жыл бұрын
Yes, I have run the C12, first 1 made it 59 miles, Gates warrantied it, second one didn't make it past break in.
@Jizden_Mipanz6 жыл бұрын
JSoutdoorlife crazy....mine lasted 1200 miles and my second one is on about 200 miles right now and not a hiccup.... I don't blame you for the bad opinions...

Doug whats your thoughts on a gear reduction kit so you can run a taller tire. Tube works has few kits now 70/30/15, 45/15 an 30%. Think the yxz would benefit from the taller bighorns ?
@SXSBlog6 жыл бұрын
I've only driven one with gear reduction, didn't love it. Taller tires would be good for sure but I'd put the money towards a turbo to turn them instead of gearing down.
