Of coarse beast mode won a drag race, but the Goul put up a serious fight. Beastmode is a drag only car now. For a machine that can race, trail ride, rip dunes, etc. I still love the goul.

I always put a very thin layer of grease anywhere inside the air cleaner area to catch the dust and dirt that gets through the air filter I even do the same on my dirt late model racecar and you'll be very surprised about how much actually gets through and stuck to the grease and all ya gotta do is just wash it all off then reply another thin layer

Would love to see if Doug could figure out a little boost by gear action on the yxz. No wrecking the diff and maximum chooch down track. Should be possible with the standalone but it would be dependent on the boost controller. If he could figure it out, then he really would have the best all around unit for drag and trail. Can’t wait to see 2jp wrecking the competition out at silver lake, should even compete well with the LS powered rails in a straight line.

I think the spinning off of the line is what is keeping rpm up at launch. More clutch weight adjustment is needed. Beast mode sounds great when the turbo lights up.

You guys should have a water tank that you can put on one of the cars with a multi-head sprayer hanging off the back to spray down your strip and help with the dust. You could probably fab one out of a 55 gallon barrel with some basic tubing into some sprinkler heads or something along those lines. Might be worth a little time investment to improve your quality of life by having your own pseudo water truck when you’re out there testing. You could just toss it in the back of Mudlife whenever you need it since it wouldn’t be all that big. I’d say you could use one of those pesticide sprayer bottles you can grab at Home Depot but I don’t think that tank would be big enough. Just a thought.

SxS Gents... maybe apply a technique that Cleetus and others use by bringing in a tuning specialist maybe from EVO. No harm in learning from others and reducing the struggle. In watching your videos for years, I would never suggest you don't have SxS knowlege..but using specialists has its place in my opinion.

I'm impressed with CF1. It has around 80hp less than the ghoul and its a close race. If they do a few more things to that, it will be the fastest other than JP.

2 very sick sxs's. everyone likes to compare company X to Z and one says this Whp on the dyno and the other says xxx on the dyno but the fact is that sxsblog cars just flat out run no matter the Hp level. they seem to get the most out of every kit and I would have no issue sending them a brand new sxs and blank check letting them do what they do best. If you think they are big now, just wait a year or 2 as these guys will be in a bigger shop doing full 80 to 100k builds
