The premise of the show is really only enough for one season. I mean, they’re in prison and they break out. Done. Season 2 they managed to stretch it out as more of a fugitive sort of thing and I thought that was still pretty good. But after that it had run its course.

But both of those were a departure from the original premise (S2 is fugitive, S4 has a sort of Ocean's 11 vibe). S3 which was set back in prison was the weakest. S5 had some good moments but was also a weaker season.
