It shows in the video how easy it is when you put the key in and turn and remove the plastic piece. I have tried everything and I cannot get the plastic pieces off when I unlock them. It seems defective. Any suggestions?

I got stuck at step 1 where you insert the silver piece in the rail.

Ordered for a VW Tiguan and the longest bar is like .5" too long and can not adjust any smaller. Anyone find a work around for something like this?

Does not fit my Mitsubishi Outlander. Rails are way too long. Will return right away

What a bunch of moaners... installation really isn't that complicated -- just fit pieces together and tighten in-place with screws; besides, what were you expecting for price paid! Just make sure the screw back pane is inserted first with little bent tongue extending downwards, then insert foot all the way between bar and tongue into the bar, gently easing plastic on foot around bar end, until screw holes align. After that, easy to tighten and adjust on car roof rails.

your crossbar is not the correct one for my vehicle. You should check the returned unit. I have a 2021 GLA250 M. benz. your crossbar does not fit my rails.
