Wow!! She was only 14 here! I think I watched it in real time! Her voice is out of this world!!! Her singing technique, like a vocal control is just amazing!!! I don't think she had any proper singing training...but I know she's been singing since she was a little girl & won many awards at the contest! Her family was very poor, so she gave her mom the award money, wanting to help her with the living expenses!(^^) She is such a good girl!(^^)(^^) I'm sure she was more mature beyond her age, going thorough a tough time! I think Ellen saw her in the Philippines's singing contest & she was blown away with her performance that she invited Charice to her show & that was her very first time performing in front of American audiences!! She was great & Ellen was in tears!(^^) So Ellen discovered Charice first!! I guess then David Forster took her in under his wing & her career took off!(^^)(^^) I get goosebumps especially when she sings Whitney's songs! No one can sing her song like Charice does! I'm sure Whitney would have been proud of her!(^^)(^^) Well, I know a lot has happened to Charice's personal life & she has struggled quite a lot but I support her decision as she deserves to be who she wants & nobody should be judging her. I hope she continues to be successful & wish her all the happiness, good health & lots of fun in her life personally & professionally!!(^^)^_^(^^)^_^

I read somewhere here in one of the comments in youtube videos, I just don´t remember where it is. There are fans closer or having some contacts with her that Charice was quoted telling that she really wants to come back to Korea but it contradicts on her Phil-US schedules and Koreans schedule. And she said that her return to Korea might come when she is starting to promote her US album. I´m just hoping it will come sooner than that.
