Hey tell me how well does a wood stove work for heating???

This one takes a little longer to heat up in the garage, as this stove doesn't have any firebrick in it and no blower to disperse heat out. That's why i have the fan off to the side to help push air around. As far as a primary or even secondary heat source, I love the feeling of the heat that wood stoves throw off. Nothing like it or is remotely comparable. We actually have an outdoor boiler that we heat the house with, I would say endless supply of hot water, or at least until the well runs dry. Haha

What I was really trying to find out about your wood stove was.. How well does it heat??? How big are room can a heat on its own. Only using the Wood stove..??? And what the temperature will be outside and inside before you start the Wood stove..🤔🤷???

I've got a video scheduled for tomorrow @12p on how well it heats the garage within an Hour. I talk/show temperatures outside and inside before and after an hour lapse. This wood stove is rated for I believe 900sqft, so 30ft by 30ft, my garage is ~670sqft. I personally just wanted to oversize the stove for my heating space, it will warm up quicker and not struggle compared to undersizing the stove to the space you're heating. Thank you!

thanx 4 the reply.. we heat w/hardy h-4 outdoor wood boiler , burns ANYTHING!!, but we dont, cause ya dont wanna piss off ur neighbors and do stupid , like burning tires !, then ,... think people... the local safetycrats will outlaw them ! .. consequences people , like .. speeding, drinkin & drivin , etc. , live long & prosper !!

I believe we have a Hardy h3, if it's not a 3 it is a H4. I agree it will burn whatever you want to load in to it. We went from a hot blast in the basement to the Hardy, talk about a substantial wood consumption difference. Wow plus the on-demand basically endless hotwater is real nice!!
